RAD Shock Mounts for Interior Booming
The RAD-1 Shock Mounts are designed to be used with short shotgun and small condenser pencil microphones (super-cardioid, cardioid and omni). This suspension provides exceptional isolation from movement, handling noise and other vibrations associated with booming. The mount has soft-coated universal mic clips to fit any mic 19-25mm in diameter.
Each mount includes a pair of standard firmness hoops (black) and a pair of softer hoops (light blue) -- so you can get the best isolation for your style of booming. All of the components are produced using virtually indestructible thermoplastic elastomers from high-precision injection moulding in an ISO-9000 certified factory (no 3D printing here). The RAD Shock Mounts are made in England.
RAD Shock Mounts for Exterior Booming
The RAD-2 & RAD-3 Shock Mounts are designed for for use with standard length shotgun microphones and small condenser microphones with slide-on fur windshields on the front. It provides exceptional isolation from movement, handling noise and other vibrations associated with booming.
The mount has soft-coated universal mic clips to fit any mic 19-25mm in diameter. Each mount includes a pair of standard firmness hoops (black) and a pair of softer hoops (light blue). The RAD-2 hoops are slightly thicker than RAD-1 hoops and have an extra 3mm of bracing on top to hold the extra weight of front-heavy microphones. Made in England.
Nimbus Slide-on Windshields
The Nimbus is a slide-on windscreen made in many sizes to fit shotgun, small condenser and broadcast camera-mounted microphones. It is designed to reduce up to 25dB of wind noise generated from light to moderate winds, whilst maintaining high frequency audio clarity.
The specially designed rubber end caps are made in two diameters to fit snugly around 19-22mm or 24-25mm microphones, preventing wind from entering behind the capsule. Nimbus windshields are also the only slip-on fur windscreens to incorporate small "pepper pot" hole openings on the end caps to reduce air pressure near the capsule. This unique feature diminishes the “muddy or muffled” sound that can occur at some frequencies.

Urchin Lavalier Windshields
Urchin Lavalier Fur Windshield, Short-length premium quality synthetic fur cover windshield, includes foam windscreen insert.
The Urchin Lav windshields are made to use with lavalier mics placed on the outside of clothing using a clip or other fixture. Each Urchin package comes with a lav foam and short-length black synthetic fur cover. This gives you the option of two levels of wind protection and are perfect for use in interviews, capturing dialogue or for plant mics.
The Urchin fur covers are sized to firmly fit over mics like the COS-11, DPA 4060 and DPA 6060. They have a unique blue band which holds them firmly into place.

Foam Windscreens
Designed to place over a shotgun microphones' "interference tube vents" and provide basic reliable wind and pop protection. Appropriate for boom pole, handheld and camera-mounted applications. Use indoors to minimize the swoosh effect of boom cueing and HVAC air flow.
Made from premium quality "open-cell" polyurethane acoustic foam in a classic windscreen shape. Resistant to the effects of moisture and UV in outdoor applications.
This windscreen needs to cover the entire length of all "vents" on microphone to be effective.
Fur Windcovers
Coiled Boom Pole Cables: A tidy way to connect “internally cabled” boom poles to mixer inputs in over the shoulder applications. Features Right Angle or Lo-Pro XLR-3F connectors with coils that comfortably extends to about 6’ or more to an XLR-3M. Also available as in XLR-5F Stereo versions.
Custom high-quality coiled cable works equally well with straight, bottom exit poles and side-exit XLR connectors. Extremely durable and field proven quality.
